How you can help us
We are delighted to launch our 100 Club in 2012!
We are asking for the support of 100 Bristol businesses to each raise £1000 during 2012 to help us further improve our Day Hospice so we can provide even better care for our patients.
By committing to raise £1,000 in a year you can help us reach our target of £100,000 which will enable us to make a real difference to our patients and their families.
Our Day Hospice looks after up to 20 patients each day. This gives patients the opportunity to be assessed by skilled nurses and a doctor, but equally as important is the opportunity to be with other people facing similar challenges. This peer support is immeasurable.
From crafts sessions and music therapy, to massage and tennis on the Nintendo Wii, the range of activities Day Hospice offers means we can really make a patient’s day with us a positive and therapeutic one. Group activities, such as relaxation, gentle exercise sessions and making nutritional smoothies, develop skills that can continue at home.
